Sexy Snippets #13: No Way Out

Good morning and Happy Sunday!

 Yesterday, I teased y'all with a little bit of my current WIP, my first BDSM story, No Way Out. Today, I'm going to show you a little more.

 Shylor is a young man who lives with Randy, who's forty and very domineering. Not just dom/sub, but worse. Meeting Wyatt could either be the best thing that ever happened to Shy - or the worst. In this peek, Randy isn't home, and Wyatt's crossed the street with a sweet offering in the form of two ice cream cones.

 He forced himself to calm down, digging his nails into the palms to distract himself, so hard that small red crescents formed. He had to do this. He had to discourage Wyatt from ever coming over here, even if it turned out to be the hardest thing he’d ever done. And he’d done a lot of hard things in his short life.

 But it was a matter of self-preservation. Even more, he didn’t want Wyatt to be hurt, and there was no doubt in Shy’s mind that Randy would hurt him.

 He slowly opened the door, catching Wyatt in mid-knock, startling the other man.

 “You can’t be here,” he whispered in as fierce a voice as he could muster. “He can’t see you.”

Sexy Snippets #11: Leonardo di Caprio is a Vampire

Happy Sunday and welcome to Sexy Snippets! Today's snippet comes from my Leonardo di Caprio is a Vampire, which will be released by Torquere Press in October. You may recall that it was previously released by a publisher which shall remain nameless. Since that time, I have added about 7k to it in the form of a second POV, namely that of Hunter Long.  I have chosen their first kiss for today. Enjoy! Fisher trembled, an expectant trembling, as if he were waiting for something to happen. He didn't have to wait long. Suddenly those beautiful lips were touching his, and then they were kissing, truly kissing. No, it wasn't Fisher's first kiss, but it was his first with a man. His only kiss with a man. And he was amazed at what a difference there was between this kiss and the others. Not because of gender, but because it was with Hunter. Because Hunter was someone special.

Sexy Snippets #10: Yes He's My Ex

For this week's snippet, I thought I would use something from a WIP which began life as a piece of flash fiction, and which I intend to polish and sub to a publisher. It's called Yes, He's My Ex, and it concerns the exploits of Tim and his ex-boyfriend Sonny - who sometimes forgets he's Tim's ex.

Sonny likes to walk into Tim's apartment like he has a right to, and this is one of those times. Tim doesn't want to make room for Sonny on the sofa,  but Sonny doesn't let that stop him! Enjoy! And don't forget to visit the other authors on the hop here.

He simply picks up my legs as if they were breadsticks and slides beneath them. Great. Now I’m half on Sonny’s lap. Not a good place to be. I’m all too aware of his thighs, and I can’t help but picture them naked—with me between them.

Time to change the subject. Or start one rather, before I find myself sliding inside of him and giving into him, no matter what he wants.

Sexy Snippets #9: Be My Alien

Good morning and Happy Sunday one and all! Today's Sexy Snippet comes from Be My Alien, the first book in the Moonlit Skies series, brought to you by M.A. Church and myself. Taz is an alien, here on earth for what proves to be a disastrous first (and last) date with fellow Trygoshean Vorlod, and ends up being dumped at the Empire State Building. Reed Hatcher is an overworked businessman who has an upscale men's boutique with a naughty back room. They literally bump into one another and sparks fly. This takes place after Reed takes Taz home - and after he learns about his true origins, and gets past the idea he's hooking up with an alien. Taz touched something and they came open easily. Shaking his head, Reed smoothed the material back. My, my. Seemed like going commando wasn’t just an earthling tradition.

Sexy Snippets #8: Starry Starry Night (a Stan and Ollie WIP)

Happy Sunday and welcome to another sexy snippet. Today's snippet is coming from a WIP featuring Stan and Ollie, two characters I introduced in my Wednesday flash. This story takes place before that one, and will be the first book in the Dead Vibrations series.

Stan is a police offer who lives with his sister Gwin in the house that was once their mother's. Gwin is a big believer in helping people, and brings Ollie home to stay, along with his cat, Xylina. Stan isn't exactly thrilled... but as this scene shows, he isn't exactly unhappy either, when he and Ollie sort of bump into each other in the dining room.  Enjoy!

Zing! A jolt of electricity… or something… surges between us, producing a vibration similar to the feeling I experienced before but intensified a millionfold. I am literally shocked dumb and I can’t do anything but stand there like an idiot. Then the sensation passes and I shake myself back into some sort of sensibility.

For some reason, my sister’s still talking. And she gives no indication that she’s noticed anything strange. Not so the stranger. His grin is even more beautiful… I mean annoying… self-satisfied… sensual… I mean patronizing…

Fuck.

            They are so insufferably self-righteous and intolerant—and very easily led. Not an independent mind among them. Makes things much easier for me.

Happy Sunday, and happy Sexy Snippets! Today I'm going to post from a book I've already subbed and that I'm waiting to hear about, When Will I See You Again.  I hope you enjoy it! Raoul placed a hand on either side of Alexx’s face and drew him close, closer, closest, until their lips were mere micrometers apart. Alexx had never wanted anyone so badly in his entire life, and he knew he’d do anything to have him.

The first touch of their lips was as gentle and fleeting as the touch of a butterfly’s wings; the next just a little longer, a little firmer, the one after that just a little bit more.  Until, at last, they crushed their lips together in a most passionate embrace. When they came up for air, Alexx staggered slightly, his head and body both reeling. He looked into Raoul’s eyes. For just a moment, he thought he saw something—something familiar, something wonderful.

First release with a new publisher

On Wednesday, I had my first release with eXtasy Books. They released a story that originally began as part of my weekly flash fiction, posted on Wednesdays by the Wednesday Briefers. The story is Dallas in Wonderland. I had self-published it for a little while, but then I decided to submit it to eXtasy. The rest, as they say, is now history.

Naturally, I received a new cover and, while I thought the one I did wasn't too bad, I am really pleased with the new one.

Going down the rabbit hole has never been so sexy!

He sat up abruptly, instantly regretting that he’d done so. His head throbbed, conga drum painfully. He threw his hands to either side of him for balance, his fingers digging into the thick grass.

What the hell? Where was he? And why? And where was Samuel?

Think, think, think, he exhorted himself. What was the last thing he remembered?

The ache in his cock reminded him. He’d been dancing with Samuel. In one of the university houses. He was house sitting there or something. He remembered the heart-stopping kisses, taking his clothes off—with Samuel’s assistance—and spinning… Yes, Samuel had asked him to spin, so he had, receiving his approbation. Admiration. Confabulation. Spinning and spinning…

Eyes. He remembered seeing the eyes behind Samuel. Gleaming…dangerous…terrible eyes. Watch out, Samuel. But he couldn’t get the words out, no matter how he tried. Then nothing but darkness.

But before I do…I move toward my irritable Judas without pausing to think about what I’m doing, impelled by something I don’t truly understand. Something inside of me is urging me, and I find I cannot do other than obey… I put my hands on either side of his lovely face, pull him toward me and…

…and I lock our lips together in a kiss. Not just any kiss, but the kiss to end all kisses. Not that I’ve not kissed Judas before, I have, and others as well. But this is different and I very well know it. My lips are afire from this kiss, and I suspect his are as well.

I know it's a bit late on Sunday, and I promise to do better  next time, but better late than never, right? I came across Sexy Snippets, which is just what I've been wanting. Lightning sliced across the night sky like a jagged scar. It briefly illuminated the countryside, throwing twisted-limbed trees into momentary sharp relief. The thick ripe foliage of summer was long gone, and the land was left naked in the barrenness of winter. Several heartbeats later followed the thunder, a dull drumming in the background of the heavens that steadily increased in volume with each repetition.

The horse was skittish and pulled against the reins at the sound, but its rider pressed a reassuring hand against its heaving flank and it grew still once more; the clop of its hoofs echoed eerily in the momentary peace between the waves of sound. A second steed stood beside the first; it, too, pawed the ground in disquiet, its ears flattened against its head, expressive of its disapproval.

“The storm approaches,” the second rider observed...
