Tease Me Thursday #21: Don't Look Back

This week is flying by! The weekend's getting closer all the time! So it must be time for Tease me Thursday! When Friday's still a day away, but you want to get a little start on the festivities! Join us for a bit of Thursday fun!

This week, I'm giving you a little bit of my ongoing flash, Don't Look Back. This story is for mature audiences only, and has themes some people might not be comfortable with, so be aware of that before you read.  Marshall and Lee have a very hot relationship, let's take a little look! Don't forget to visit the other authors on the blog hop! Their links follow my snippet.

Don't Look Back

“Fuck, your ass is hot,” Lee moaned. “Sweet and tight. So tight.”

Marshall clenched his muscles about Lee’s cock, knowing damn good and well that would drive Lee crazy. And it did.

“Holy Jesus fuck,” Lee swore. “Goddamn, boy, you tryin’ to kill me?”

“No, Sir. I’m not trying to fuck you to death, Sir.” Well, not literally.

Lee shifted his own position, leaning over Marshall’s back, changing the angle of his attack. And now he was able to peg a certain bundle of nerves, and Marshall yelped in sheer ecstasy. Again, and again, in dizzying succession—Marshall lost count. His own dick was puddling the ground beneath him into a wet mess.

Marshall felt Lee’s lips trailing along his spine. He felt Lee’s hand as it snaked beneath him, taking hold of Marshall’s wet cock.

Oh yeah, fist me. Hard.

Name Before the Masses Tour: Twist of Fate

Please welcome author Shawna C. Jones, who is here to tell us about her latest release, Twist of Fate. Shawna is going to award, to one randomly drawn commenter, his choice of: a $50 Amazon GC, a $50 Starbucks GC, or a crystal from Middle Earth store in Mt. Shasta. The more you comment, the better your chances of winning. To find out where the other stops on the tour are, go here. Look for the Rafflecopter at the end of this post.

The Questions

1)      You’re marooned on a small island with one person and one item of your choice—who is that person and
what item do you have? My Aunt Emma. The item would be a crystal ball so we would know our future prospects.

2)      Which musical would you say best exemplifies your life – and which character in that musical are you? I
would say Wicked, which is based on the Wizard of Oz. I would be Glinda, the good witch, as I’m always on the side of good.

   3)    Take these three words and give me a 100 word or less scenario using them:  insurance, owed, talk.  My brother Gary owed me half a million dollars, and he refused to pay up. After years of haggling, I’d reached the end of my rope so to speak. He can’t treat his sister like this. So I kidnapped his wife Loretta, as an insurance policy. I knew he’d pay if I had her. I drove us to a cabin that I owned, which no one knew about. I tied her up, and sent Gary a letter which stated clearly: I have your wife. If you want her back in one piece, call me. We’ll talk.

4)      What is your idea of how to spend romantic time with your significant other?

My husband and I spend a romantic evening at home, with a candlelight dinner, soft music, and a vegetarian meal. Afterwards, we usually head to the bedroom…

5)      When you start a new story, do you begin with a character, or a plot?

      So far, character seems to be the driving force.

6)     If they were to make the story of your life into a movie, who should play you? Madonna seems like a good
choice to me. Hopefully she’s up for skydiving and hang gliding.

    7)    Who’s your favorite horror villain and why? My favorites are the ones you can’t see, yet they are doing all sorts of scary things to visitors in houses, and that sort of thing. There’s no blood or gore, yet what they can do to you or make you do is frightening.

8)      Do you have an historical crush and if so, who is it?

      It would have to be Columbus or someone of that caliber. Mainly because he was adventurous and took
chances.

9)      Is there a story that you’d like to tell but you think the world isn’t ready to receive it?

   I wonder about my next book, since it’s pretty out there. I think we’ll just have to see.

BLURB:

Shawna grew up with a secret that she couldn't share with anyone. She thought of it as her "inner demon" and it shaped her life. When she became an adult, it sent her on a quest to try to find her Real Home. In Paris, she fell in love with a fellow traveler who changed her life, for better or worse. Their relationship was full of discovery and of lessons learned.

How could she come to terms with her "inner demon"? Can we change our fate or karma? Does love really conquer all?

This book is based on a true story of an independent woman's search for her true self and the meaning of life, and how she found answers in unexpected places.

EXCERPT:

“Are you alright?” I asked, touching her hands, which were now empty, but still shaking a bit.

“I will be. Give me a minute.” She closed her eyes.

I bent down and started picking up the pieces of the cup. Tea leaves were splashed everywhere. One group looked like Tower Bridge, but one group caught my eye. As I looked at it closely, it seemed to be a face. I couldn’t tell if it was male or female, but it had slits for eyes and mouth. I tried to get closer still, when my aunt’s foot tapped it and it disappeared.

I quickly picked everything up and went to get a broom and dustpan. My aunt looked at me and smiled a little.

“I’ll take care of everything. You just relax.” I went inside and came back out. I cleaned everything up. When I came back out I found her standing at the edge of the patio; she was staring at the ocean.

She turned and looked at me. Color had come back into her face and she appeared calm.

“I don’t know what happened there. But there was definitely an unknown entity around. You have a lot of protection around you. Make sure white light surrounds you at all times. Be very careful of the future you’re stepping into. Some of it is a problem. I don’t like it. I don’t like it at all.”

“I’ll change it.”

“Yes. Some of it, you might be able to. You can always try.” She didn’t sound convincing.

“You don’t know what it is?”

“No. But veils are not a good sign. Just be careful and try not to be too concerned about anything.”

“You know that won’t happen.” We both smiled. I hugged her tightly. What would I do without her?

I knew I liked to live in the fast lane. Perhaps I would have to move over to the slow lane for a while. No. That would not be me. And besides, Paris was waiting for us.

 Lesson: Always protect yourself. And when a psychic warns you, pay extra close attention.

Wednesday Briefs: Don't Look Back #7

Happy Hump Day! If it's Wednesday, it must be time for more flash fiction from the Wednesday Briefers! A little something to break up the week, when you're looking forward to the weekend!

Last week, Marshall was feeling a mite restless, and Lee had the solution, which continues in this week's episode. Don't forget to see what the other Briefers are up to. Their links follow my tale! Enjoy!

Don't Look Back #7 by Julie Lynn Hayes

Marshall and Lee’s sexual relationship didn’t begin until Marshall turned eighteen. Lee’s choice, not Marshall’s. He wanted to be with Lee sooner, but Lee refused.

“Gotta crawl before you can walk,” he’d said in his laconic way. Marshall didn’t even understand what that meant, but his objections got him nowhere. He considered himself lucky Lee didn’t punish him for his smart mouth, not to mention some of the comments he’d let loose with. But he’d been allowed some leeway. At least on this one point. Marshall still had to toe the line in all other ways.

So Marshall had to content himself with studying the subject of male love on the Internet, while he waited—although somewhat impatiently—to come of age.

Lee kept telling him two years wasn’t forever, and he was right. As usual.

The night Marshall turned eighteen was the night his true education began—a night he’d never forget. Marshall’s sexual voyage was an ongoing project, one they both reveled in. Marshall prayed it would never end.

Marshall was much more adept at dealing with Lee’s girth than he had been before. He’d also learned what Lee liked, and how to please him, things the Internet couldn’t begin to teach. He still enjoyed watching other men fuck, too. Viewing porn with Lee sometimes gave them both interesting ideas, and often led to other things. Although Lee often had quite a few ideas of his own, having more experience with other men than Marshall did. At least, before Marshall came back into his life. Then that all changed.

Marshall loved the way Lee tasted; that was something he never grew tired of. He could spend all day sucking on Lee’s cock and be content to do so. Lee once told him no one did it better than Marshall, and the words of praise were very pleasing indeed.

Marshall had worked at developing his ability to hold his breath—whether while sucking Lee’s cock, or being kissed senseless by him. Even so, he found breathing to still be a necessity. He pulled back, taking advantage of the pause to take a breath as he licked a trail along the underside of Lee’s erection, beginning at the root and traversing his pulsing vein. When he reached the head, Marshall swirled his tongue about the helmet and explored the slit, tasting the pre-cum that already oozed in a thin salty stream.

Goddamn, Lee tasted good.

When Lee shifted his weight from one leg to the other, Marshall looked up, meeting Lee’s dark blue eyes. He could see Lee’s love for him shining there, and he knew his own eyes reciprocated the same passion.

“Mind if we take this to the couch?” Marshall gave Lee a questioning look even as he made the request.

“Don’t tell me your knees can’t take it?” Lee teased, eliciting a grin from Marshall.

“Nope, that’s not it. There’s just something I can’t do very well from this angle.”

“And what might that be?” Lee reached toward him, softly caressing Marshall’s jaw line with his fingertips. Marshall arched into his touch with a small moan.

“I want to tongue your hole,” Marshall said simply. He didn’t need to ask if Lee liked the idea—the shiver that coursed through Lee’s body was answer enough.

“Boy, I like the way you think. Best shed these clothes now, then.”

Marshall wholeheartedly agreed, but he wasn’t about to make a move without permission. He waited until Lee gave the word and then he proceeded to remove everything Lee wore, beginning with his shoes, not stopping until Lee was revealed in all his naked splendor.

And wasn’t that a sight calculated to make Marshall’s mouth water even more? Oh my...

“Your turn.” Lee’s voice melted Marshall’s insides. If he didn’t quickly clamp down on his libido, he was about to have an accident.

He kissed his way into a standing position, using lips and tongue to mark his territory. Lee was his as much as he was Lee’s—of that there was no question. Marshall gave himself freely and willingly, and in return he received everything from Lee—his love, his protection, his loyalty. Their relationship was complicated to the outside world, but to them it was simple—they loved one another.

Lee didn’t rush Marshall as he worked his way up Lee’s body. He twined his fingers inside Marshall’s hair, and once Marshall had risen to his feet, Lee pressed their mouths together, never releasing his hold. By the time he did let go, Marshall was dizzy with lust.

He took a moment for his head to clear and his balance to be restored before he began to strip. Not hastily, but slowly, sensually. He knew Lee enjoyed watching him reveal his flesh, bit by bit, savoring every moment of the process. Lee didn’t have to say a word—his eyes spoke volumes.

Once Marshall was as naked as Lee, Lee turned and sauntered toward the family room. Marshall followed close behind, his eyes focused on Lee’s sexy ass in anticipation.

The plush red sofa was fairly new, only a couple of years old. They’d driven up to San Antonio to shop the bigger furniture stores. Prior to this sofa, Lee’d had a leather couch for a few years. They’d found out the hard way that leather was not conducive to lovemaking, being both slick and uncomfortably sticky when body fluids were involved. Once was more than enough. The sofa became a gift to Sheriff Landry, once the new one was delivered.

Lee took a seat in the middle of the couch, his hands laced behind his head, his weeping cock tall and proud. Slowly, he spread his legs, making room for Marshall between them.

“Like what you see?” He gave Marshall a slow, seductive smile that took his breath away every time he flashed it.

“You know I do,” Marshall breathily replied.

“Then come and get it,” Lee invited, and Marshall dropped to his knees, prepared to dine.

to be continued

Now go see what the other Briefers are up to!

Katey Hawthorne is an avid reader and writer of superpowered romance, even though the only degree she holds is in the history of art. (Or, possibly, because the only degree she holds is in the history of art.) Originally from the Appalachian foothills of West Virginia, she currently lives in Ohio. In her spare time she enjoys comic books, B-movies, loud music, Epiphones, and Bushmills. Find Katey at http://www.kateyhawthorne.com/

Sean Michael: Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago."
A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.
Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

Sigh.
To date, Kiernan has over a dozen novels in print and ebook, and a plethora of short stories in both formats.

KC Wells: Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C.Wells always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way.
K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, where the purchase of a m̩nage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings Рwriting about men in love was even hotter...
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career.
The laptop still has no idea of what hit it... it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.
K.C. can be reached via email (k.c.wells@btinternet.com), on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/KCWellsWorld) or through comments at the K.C. Wells website (www.kcwellsworld.com) K.C. loves to hear from readers.

Blurb: So, what happens when you get a bunch of m/m writers together on a panel at a steamy little convention called Authors After Dark in Savannah?
In this case, we all sat around with the readers who came to our panel and chattered and laughed like idiots, and we talked about what we liked to read and write. There was a lot of smutty puns, and it was all fun and games until someone uttered the fateful phrase, “Right, and every story has to have a designated bottom.”
The writer and editor in me both went, “ooooh”. And I said, “Hey, does anyone want in on an anthology for next year with this theme?”
Enough of the writers at that panel, and a few who weren’t, said yes, and Designated Bottoms was born. When I sent out the call, this is what I said.
You’ve heard about Designated Drivers? Well, what about a Designated Bottom? The theme is open to all m/m stories where one man is a designated bottom boy, Whether self-imposed or by the Dom/lover/alpha of the pack or simply (either true or not) by society. Feel free to play with burly bottoms who surprise the deceptively sweet top, or with the too-smart kid who's the pushy bottom to end all bottoms. BDSM is fine, but not mandatory. A bottom may simply like to catch instead of pitch.
The stories I received delighted me. From a first-time cowboy and his new lover to a hardass Sergeant falling for a determined young soldier, from a hot gamer geek who doesn’t date to a sweet young thing on his first visit to a BDSM club, there’s something for everyone. There are princes and paupers, werekitties and strippers, and skinny twink-looking tops and big, gentle bottoms. They all left me fanning my hot cheeks and smiling at how the end result was two men in love, no matter how they got there.
The authors in Designated Bottoms have all reminded me why I fell in love with m/m as a genre damned near fifteen years ago, and of why I’m still writing, and publishing those stories today.
We’d like to dedicate this book to all the readers at Authors After Dark who thought this collection was a great idea, and to all the readers who keep us going every day by reading our books and letting us know they like them! I hope y’all love these stories as much as I do!

Blurb(s):
Some men are bottoms by birth, others by choice. Whatever the reason, a designated bottom is someone who’s happy to surrender, to submit, or just catch instead of pitch!
In Czech Me Out, by BA Tortuga, Korde discovers what it’s like to fall for someone when food truck owner Josh takes on the cowboy virgin. Katey Hawthorne’s gamer grad student Paul doesn’t date. He keeps things strictly physical. So why is Sammy so important to him in The Mistell? Kitty shifter and stripper Aleks doesn’t mix business with pleasure, but he thinks Rafe might just be the master for him in Julia Talbot’s Faster Bobcat.
Sean Michael’s Peter isn’t sure about the club his friend takes him to, especially when Doms start hitting on him. Experienced Dom Rupert is happy to help, explaining about that Little Square of Cloth. In Sgt. Hardass, by Shannon West, recent ex-Army man Jake meets up with a man he has history with, and Chad isn’t sure he can explain himself and defuse Jake’s anger. In the Prince of Paupers by Kiernan Kelly, Prince Liam and longtime friend Deacon have to go back to Deacon’s Appalachian home, much to the prince’s dismay. And in Switching It Up by KC Wells, Jay knows he looks like a twink, but only hunky Dean understands that looks can be seriously deceptive.

Excerpt:
From Czech Me Out by BA Tortuga
Josh had texted the fine cowboy as early as he felt comfortable doing it. He’d waited until nine. He figured it was gratifying that he got an immediate response.

“Noon?” he’d sent, and when he got an affirmative, he’d send his address. Then he set about making lunch.

He could tear that sweet body up, turn the Marlboro Man inside out and make Korde like it. He would soften the guy up with a few barbecue-filled potato skins... Barbecue, the redneck aphrodisiac.

Josh grinned. He’d swayed more than one hot little cowboy with his special sauce and some crispy potatoes. Of course, he’d never asked one to come to his house before, and certainly hadn’t gotten so interested so damned fast.

He’d never changed his sheets and made sure he was stocked with lube and rubbers, either. Not on a not-even-a-first-date. Lord. He was hopeful today, for sure.

Hopeful, horny and... oh, man, he needed an ‘h’ word...

The doorbell rang, saving him from having to be too creative. He told his cock to stay down for a bit and went to answer.

Frack and Frick were yapping their damn fool heads off, wagging and bouncing. Silly mutts. “Y’all get down.”

Josh opened the door a few inches. “You’re not afraid of dogs are you?”

“Not even a bit.” Korde leaned down and gave scritches, easy as pie.

Those two beagle-shepherd monstrosities went nuts, yodeling and wagging and begging.

THE UNHOLY
By
Paul DeBlassie III

BLURB:

A young curandera, a medicine woman, intent on uncovering the secrets of her past is forced into a life-and-death battle against an evil Archbishop. Set in the mystic land of Aztlan, The Unholy is a novel of destiny as healer and slayer. Native lore of dreams and visions, shape changing, and natural magic work to spin a neo-gothic web in which sadness and mystery lure the unsuspecting into a twilight realm of discovery and decision.

EXCERPT:

Lightning streaked across a midnight dark sky, making the neck hairs of a five-year-old girl crouched beneath a cluster of twenty-foot pines in the Turquoise Mountains of Aztlan stand on end. The long wavy strands of her auburn mane floated outward with the static charge. It felt as though the world was about to end.

Seconds later, lightning struck a lone tree nearby and a crash of thunder shook the ground. Her body rocked back and forth, trembling with terror. She lost her footing, sandstone crumbling beneath her feet, and then regained it; still, she did not feel safe. There appeared to be reddish eyes watching from behind scrub oaks and mountain pines, scanning her every movement and watching her quick breaths. Then everything became silent.

The girl leaned against the trunk of the nearest tree. The night air wrapped its frigid arms tightly around her, and she wondered if she would freeze to death or, even worse, stay there through the night and by morning be nothing but the blood and bones left by hungry animals. Her breaths became quicker and were so shallow that no air seemed to reach her lungs. The dusty earth gave up quick bursts of sand from gusts of northerly winds that blew so fiercely into her nostrils that she coughed but tried to stifle the sounds because she didn’t want to be noticed.

Excerpt 2

“Help me? Help yourself! Face what is yours to face,” Elizabeth hissed. She yanked the door open then forced it to slam behind her.

Claire stood still for a moment, feeling as if a tornado had swept through the room. Elizabeth’s demand had left her shaken. She drew a deep breath, then went to her desk and picked up her tea, noticing her trembling hands.

Turning toward the window, Claire saw a muscular orderly accompanying Elizabeth to the locked ward at the far end of the hospital compound. A flock of crows circled high overhead, seeming to follow the two receding figures. As they arrived at the outer doors of the locked unit, the orderly reached for his keys. The crows circled while the two crossed the threshold of the unit, Elizabeth suddenly pausing, turning, and looking outside, her gaze riveted on the flock of birds.

All but two flew off, disappearing into the piñon-covered hills. The two that remained came to rest on the red brick wall adjacent to the locked unit, their black eyes boring into Elizabeth. She looked panicked then enraged and, shaking a finger at the creatures, yelled something. Her frantic gestures told Claire that she was screeching curses to ward off evil.

Claire took a step back from the window, from the impact of Elizabeth’s rage.

The orderly grabbed Elizabeth roughly by the arm and pulled her inside.

The crows waited, watched, then flew away.

Unintentional - Book Two in the Intentional Series
by MK Harkins

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Cade, the gorgeous song man, has every reason to steer clear of commitment and train his soulful eyes, killer dimples, and sexy voice on every beauty swaying to his band. So why is it that he finds himself truly, deeply and unintentionally, fixed on the one woman who is not so easily swept away?
The sequel to Intentional, the debut romantic novel by MK Harkins, Unintentional is the heart-racing new work that follows the tangled thread of Cade in the aftermath of his heartbreak in losing the one woman he thought was his soul mate. After taking a hiatus from his job as an engineer, as well as his role in the band as lead singer, Cade reemerges in the Seattle music scene. Enter Laurel, the tenacious and determined music agent. Laurel is determined to sign him, no matter how clearly reluctant he is. Though they try to resist one another romantically, the magnetism is as immediate as it is powerful.
Unintentional offers readers an intricate, riveting story about the fraught paces of love, while also offering strains of heartwarming humor. With rich detail, authentic characters, and plenty of blood-pumping romance, Unintentional is a moving and multilayered look at how love can slip through our fingers, only to be pulled back again at the most surprising, stirring moments.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EXCERPT:

He continues his slow torture, running his fingers slowly through my hair. I close my eyes, enjoying the sensation. I hear Cade take a quick intake of breath, and I open my eyes again, to see his blue eyes boring into mine. I don’t think this will be a slow, soft kiss.

I was wrong. He links his hands into mine, placing them over my head. He leans in and starts the softest, sweetest kiss I’ve ever had. This is good—no, this is spectacular—but I want a little more. I gently nip at his lower lip. He stops suddenly, leans back, and looks at me again, studying me. I think he likes what he sees, because I’m suddenly back against the wall, all bets are off. This is not a soft or slow kiss. This one is demanding, passionate. Oh no, what did I get myself into? But right now, I don’t care. This feels so good. I couldn’t stop even if I wanted to. Wait, I do want to stop. I need to stop. But I can’t. Lord, help me, because I don’t want this to ever end.

He shifts me away from the wall, continuing the devastating kiss that is now skyrocketing out of control. His hands are rubbing up my back, into my hair, back down. Now he has hands on my upper arms, drawing me even closer.

My hands are doing their own exploring. I’ve kept all my feelings in, under wraps, for a year now, and I’m unable to hold back any longer. My whole body goes into a total meltdown.

“Stop me, Laurel.”

I meet his eyes and shake my head.
